  Embryo Donation:-

There may be circumstances where fertility problems present in both partners and neither is able to produce healthy gametes. In those patients the best option is embryo donation - even though both genetic materials are foreign, the lady will have the pleasure of carrying the baby nine months, developing a bondage with the baby, undergoing natural process of delivery and lactation. Incase the couple want to keep the secrecy of the problem embryo donation is the best option. Ultimately the health of the baby depends upon good antenatal and intrapartum care.

Embryo donation – for whom & Why ?

  • For menopausal or perimenopausal women with a sub-fertile partner
  • Recurrent IVF failures
  • Patients who are carriers of genetic disease or chromosomal abnormalities.

Preparation of Recipient before Embryo Donation :

The recipient will require estradiol and progesterone to help prepare her uterine lining for implantation of the transferred embryos.

Success rate following Embryo Donation :

Take home baby rate range from 35-40% for transfer of fresh embryos cumulative delivery rates after 3-4 cycles of IVF is around 90%

Our approach :-

Embryo donation is considered appropriate therapy for infertile or subfertile couples. Success rate is also encouraging.
