Oocyte (Egg) freezing is an established technology and is recommended for women under age of 35 years to preserve their fertility.

Indications:

• Women undergoing cancer therapy
• Women less than 35 years who wish to preserve their eggs for future use

Procedure:

Egg freezing is done following the same protocol as IVF. Women are stimulated with medicine/injectables to produce more number of oocytes. The eggs are retrieved and frozen in the lab.
